What to Expect
Your first visit will include a brief consultation
to gather information about your health and current concerns. You
will complete a short intake form to indicate areas of stress and
tension and to note injuries and health concerns. John will
discuss the session and answer any questions you may have.
You will then be left in the privacy of the massage therapy room
to undress to your comfort level, remove all jewelry, and relax
onto a comfortable massage table. Your comfort is always
most important and you are encouraged to ask questions and express
your needs, even in the midst of a massage session. The pressure
of your massage therapy will always be adjusted to your liking.
You are encouraged to use the restroom before your session begins,
however it is not uncommon to request a restroom break during the
session.
Please feel free to request a session without
music or you may play your favorite relaxation CD.
It is suggested for your ease and relaxation, that you pay your service fee at
the beginning, and turn off
cell phone.
At the close of your session, you will be left to lay quietly for
awhile. Allow this time for gentle reflection, as you allow your
senses and body to return to full awareness. Take time to slowly
stretch your body, gently rising from the table.
